This piece was painted in full flow - no sketches, no planning, just layers unfolding intuitively one by one. It was an exploration into a different direction to my main style. I started with the deep green background and let the composition build itself from there. The flowers emerged gradually, some slowly taking shape over time, others arriving quickly and unexpectedly. The leaves were the final flourish, added on instinct, and somehow they tied the whole thing together. It’s a celebration of spontaneity, of following the brush and seeing where it leads.
